Why do people in Denmark speak about free education, since there is no free education?
Great numbers of students pay back the SU.

Well, it is free as I understood lately and that money my friend has paid monthly back was the loan.
However, that loan somehow proves only in my friend situation that he did not get the education free.
Here is the story:
He lived at that time in one of the dissolved municipalities before remaking the new local administrations in Denmark.
A new official in the municipality began to harass the political refugees in that municipality and stopped the welfare from many of them for long periods.
She also interfered in their personal lives by ordering them to change the way they treat their children at home, although they of course treat their children very good.
After all, they know since they are fathers and mothers how to treat their children. After all, the municipality has not slept with their wives to give them children, so it has no rights to change their culture in a society that respects all cultures.
This is why one of the political refugees repeated continuously that the integration program in Denmark is not more than inflation.
My friend has his family and they could not live in such bad economical situation. Other friends advised him to get to the VUC to have some money and solve his problem. He did not need that education but he was forced into it.
The monthly money which the VUC offered him was less than expected to help a household stands, so they advised him to get the loan.
In his case, that education was not free for him. He continued to pay the loan back for many years.
